Homemade Baby Food

Well this was fun. And, I feel good about it! I made homemade food for Davis today; butternut squash, sweet potatoes and peas. It was very easy and so much cheaper! Plus, he will not be eating food that has additives and that has been sitting on a shelf for who knows how long!

Here is what I did:

Frozen, natural and sustainable veggies.

Pureed in food processor until well blended.

Can't forget to add the water from the steamer into the puree! It thins out the food, and adds back nutrients that may have been leeched out while steaming!

Pop frozen cubes out of tray and into a freezer bag. To serve, take one or two cubes and put into microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and serve!
